Good morning Lovelies. As I write this it is such a blessing that God has given me another chance to see another day. To be able to encourage you again today. Father, I come to You this morning first and foremost thanking You for another portion of health and strength. Lord, I ask that You bless each and every person who may read this blog. Father, I pray that You will help them with the struggles they are going through in this season. You know exactly what they need at this moment. Draw near to them and let them feel Your presence. Open their eyes, ears, hearts, and minds to You. I pray that You will calm any fear or anxiety they may be feeling. Replace it with confidence in Your word and to trust You. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen!
“Simple” is frequently understood as a negative aspect of some one’s character. Too often meaning one who is unsophisticated, foolish, of little account or value. A more positive meaning is to be open, honest, or free from pride. Being very straightforward. (Google definitions)
The word in Hebrew however brings a slight variation in meaning. It is described as one who is easily seduced, deceived, deluded, or enticed. It is not difficult to apply spiritual meaning to the word because we can easily be seduced, deceived, deluded, and enticed into thinking that we have all the knowledge and capability to succeed in whatever endeavors we attempt without God leading and guiding us.
It is only in God that we gain the understanding to what and who we are and what is truly important.
But, the most misconceived fact about simple people or as some would put it ordinary people is that this is not who God can use. Don’t believe the hype. That’s exactly who God can and will use. With that being said, now is the time that a “simple people” need to stand firm in what we believe. When I use the word simple in this instances I’m meaning the ability to be straightforward in what you believe and not easily swayed away from what are your beliefs. It is in the unfolding of God’s Word that helps us to avoid being seduced, deceived, deluded, and enticed. These characteristics can come in many forms.
Even our own selfish inclinations bring on these characteristics.
“The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” Psalm 119:130
Love life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©8.28.20
