“Reset”

November 24, 2020

Good morning Lovelies, Good is waiting on us to see that all that we are going through today is all for a reason. Father, today I confess that the daily grind has stun down my passion for You. Yes, I think of You daily but I am still guilty of allowing the circumstances of the present to smother my thoughts of You at times. Father, continue to help me be transparent in my walk with You so that it may help others in theirs. We all fall short and we need to allow others to see that they are not alone in this area. Help me have a reset in my faith, and in my life. Starting today. Renew my heart, renew my life for You and Your ways. Help me see the daily routines of life as moments to gracefully submit to Your Will. Thank You for being a God of second chances. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen!

Sometimes in life, there ought to be a time when we realize that we have done and gone through the same things so much that it is time to do a “reset.” Just as every electronic device has a reset button built into it, we also have the ability to reset with God. This is the perfect time to reset and refresh your mind, heart, and soul as we go through this time of pandemic and the nonsense with those in authority. Renew your strength by resetting your hope and clarifying your vision for what you want to see unfold.

Are you in need of a fresh start? Do you need to reboot your perspective-renew your hope? Let me remind you that God’s mercies are new every morning. God designed for humans to think, feel, speak, and act in certain ways. We get a chance to start fresh each and every day. To hit the reset button on our lives with God’s new grace and mercies He gives each day. What matters most must be the focus of our attention in times of trouble, as we pause and interrupt the mundane to reset priorities. It’s time for making the things of God a top priority!

No doubt there have been times in your life’s journey when, just as you thought things could get no worse, they did. Our lives have been filled with ups and downs, and for some of us, what a roller coaster ride it has been! Yet despite it all, and with God’s help, we managed to make the most of whatever our situation might have been. Although doing so was not always easy. As the saying goes, “No pain, no gain.” Even though we experienced pain it was nothing compared to what Jesus went through for us!

Can I take you back a few years, (well for some it might be more than a few, J) Some of you may remember the earlier video games because you either played them or bought them for someone. They were a far cry from the video games of today’s time. One of the things that these earlier video games had if you messed up was a “reset button,” and you could start the game all over. All your mistakes were gone. You could have been on your last life, but when the reset button was pressed all your lives were revived or restored.

Can you imagine having a reset button that “you” could press? I bet every one of us has done something at least once in our lives that we wish we could press a reset button on. Or, you’re on your computer, and you may be doing something significant, and it freezes. But, you haven’t saved what you were working on, and you know that unfortunately, you’re going to lose whatever you were doing. And then have to restart or reset your computer.

Fortunately, God presses reset for us daily wiping away all of the mistakes that we made the day before. It’s called forgiveness. Thank You, God, for “resetting” me daily! God through Jesus has hit the reset button on our lives! Giving us the chance to start all over again!

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away: behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Love life, give people hope, and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©11.24.2020
