God Is Still In Control”

November 25, 2020

Good morning Lovelies. God is doing a new thing. Trust the process. Father, I come to You this morning asking for Your touch. Touch my body, mind, and spirit this morning Lord. I thank You for the Power of Your Word and Your Presence over my life. I thank You that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER!!! For, greater are You who is in me, than he who is in the world. I pray that You will cast down every threat and accusation, every illness, every abusive word, and cruel attack hurled my way. I praise You that nothing is impossible with You, that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. I trust in You alone, to rise strongly on my behalf. Thank You that You are my Defender and Strong Tower, my Refuge, and my Strength! Thank You that You fight for me daily, and in my weakness, You make me strong. Thank You for continuing to show me that I need You. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen!

When things get tough and the world seems like it’s going crazy, we hear a lot of times that “God is still in control.” This statement is very true, but what we must get a grip on is what control are we talking about when we make this statement? Is it being said that God has control of everything? We as human beings like to think and believe that we are in control of things that happen in our lives. But the fact is many things are beyond our control. You and I cannot control everything that happens.

As a result, many are living in a state of fear and insecurity. I have some good news for you this morning-God is still in control of this world. While the events of 2020 caught us by surprise they did not catch God by surprise. We discovered that there are many things that we cannot count on or control. Such as man, the value of a dollar, our health, and sometimes even the people that we love. But there is one thing or better yet one person that we can count on and that is God!

You and I can count on God. We can trust God to keep His Word. GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL! We need to have a strong belief and complete faith that God is in absolute control of the world that we live in. Not only is God in control of the world, but He is also in control of history. We are moving toward a climax. We are moving forward toward a grand climax. One day Jesus Christ is coming back. One day there will be a judgment day. History is history.

We’re not going through just random acts of events that happen in life. There is a grand design. There is a purpose. There is a plan. And God is still in control of it. Therefore, we need to walk in the faith that whatever happens in our lives God can and will use it for our eternal good. Yes, God has made us free moral agents and we have the freedom to make choices. However, we are not free from the consequences of those choices. Yes, at the end of the day “God is still in control!” So be careful how you use the phrase “God is still in control,” because only those that are willing to fully submit to Him, in every aspect of their lives, can be under His control.

“Therefore David blessed the Lord in the presence of all the assembly. And David said, blessed are you, O Lord, the God of Israel our Father forever and ever. Yours O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might and in Your hand, it is to make great and to give strength to all.” 1 Chronicle 29:10-12

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Love life, give people hope, and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©11.25.2020
