“No One Is Righteous”

January 21, 2019

Good morning Lovelies. God is looking for a remnant to worship and praise Him. Father, as I meditate on the words to put in this post, I ask that you allow it to bless, refresh, encourage, lift, comfort, heal and be whatever the person who may read it needs. I am but a vessel being used by You. Remove Kim so that they see You. Father, I ask that You teach me to be more like You. Today is a new day. A chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes or failures that may have been experienced. It’s a good day to be glad and to give thanks and I do Father. Thank You for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that You want me to be. Today I want to start the day with You on my mind and in my heart, As I dress Let me wear the armor that You’ve provided daily, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the Spirit. Help me to set my thoughts on things above and to speak what You want me to speak. Help me to treat each person that I encounter today as You would, with respect and love, forgiving others and asking for forgiveness myself when needed. As I start my day, help me to remember that I belong to You, and my desire is to act accordingly. Keep my feet from stumbling and order my steps. Keep my mind from wandering into a distraction that could steal precious time and energy from the most important things that You have designed for me. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen!!

Why is it that some may think that they don’t have to worry about sin? They feel because God is so loving that He won’t judge them. Or, they continue to sin because it’s God’s job to forgive. Or, they have the mindset that sin isn’t so bad. It is far too easy to take God’s grace for granted. But God cannot and will not overlook sin. Sinners, (which is ALL of us) no matter how many excuses we make, we still will have to answer to God.

We live in a world where it has gotten to the place where anything goes. There isn’t any boundaries, morals or scruples. People have fallen into the trap of the enemy, hook, line, and sinker. Even so, on the flipside of this, you have the remnant that either thinks that just because they try to live with scruples and morals, these characteristics that I mentioned, they are “sinless.” They feel that they know that they are going to heaven because they have been “good” people. Well “NO ONE IS RIGHTEOUS!”

You probably are saying to yourself, “Wow! What is she trying to say? Is she throwing shade? (I believe this is the latest metaphor for dissing). My answer to this is “Not at all.” All I’m trying to say is that no one is innocent.” Everyone is valuable in God’s eyes because He created us in “His” image and He loves us. But, no one is righteous, that is, no one can “earn” right standing with God.

Though valuable, we have fallen into sin. Were born into sin. But, God through Jesus His Son, has redeemed us and offers to forgive us. If we return to Him in faith. Because you see, humanity in its present condition is unacceptable before God. Have you ever thought to yourself, “Well, I’m not too bad. I’m a pretty good person”? Have you ever lied? Have you ever hurt someone’s feelings by your words or tone of voice? Are you bitter toward anyone? Do you become angry with those who strongly disagree with you?

Beloved, we must remember who we are in His sight-alienated sinners. Stop falling into Satan’s trap, denying that you are a sinner. Instead, run to the one who has washed away your sins through the shedding of His blood-Jesus! He did it for you and your sins are now in the sea of forgiveness.

All have sinned, “What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.  As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.  Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues, they have practiced deceit; The poison of asps is under their lips; Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways, And the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.  Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” Romans 3:9-19

Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities, but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 01.21.19
