No More Excuses

Good morning Facebook family and friends. This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it. We will rejoice together. I claim God’s restoration over my life, my family, you and your family.

How do you feel about your walk with God? Do you feel that it can be better or do you feel that it is as strong as it should be and then some? Hummm, if you choose the latter statement I’ll have to say stop deceiving yourself. Because we all can always do better in our love, praise, worship, prayer life and service to God. Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not saying that no one has a strong walk but it can definitely get better. The Bible tells us that we should die daily so this is why I know that our walk can always get better. Dying daily means dying to the flesh and opening up to accepting more of God. We should not be lacking or slacking.

Spiritual slackness is the enemy of spiritual growth! You will not mature in the things of God nor will you receive your blessing being a slacker concerning your walk with Him. God does not reveal Himself to those that are idlers concerning Him and He does not reward those that are sometimey! You must commit to seeking Him and following Him in order to receive from Him.

You have two choices. Either, go your own way and do your own thing. Or, diligently seek His way.  There is no middle ground to stand on. When you choose to be slacking and lazy, you chose to do it yourself. We can’t do anything without Him so don’t continue to fool yourself. God wants those that can represent Him well so He can use you to show the world what He is capable of. Not that He eds us but He knows how we are a people that have to be shown for us to believe. But, even then some of us still don’t believe!  Why would He want to show the world a bad representative of Himself?

If you are always talking about what you are going to do, but never do it, then you are slacking. And why would God want to show you as His representation when the world will say, “I’m more spiritual than that without Him.” You give the world a false view of who God is and what He is capable of doing in their lives. God wants people that will hear His voice and then follow His command. He wants Christians that are faith walkers and not jive talkers. He does not need anyone with an “I’m gonna” mentality, but He needs those with an “I’m willing” Mentality!

God has already given you the instructions, so now it’s time to move. It’s time to step out on faith and accept what God is expecting from you. Corporate America does not respect lazy, slack people, so why do you think God is pleased with it? Some of us have been struggling with yesteryears mess. We’re carrying the same issues from year to year. We’re in the same place and dealing with the same issues for far too long. God wants us to pray and get up. TAKE UP YOUR BED AND WALK! Don’t just sit there MOVE!

God is tired of hearing you say what you are gonna do over and over again. Why do you think His word tells us that we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us? You have dreams and aspirations of starting your own business or whatever it is you have a desire to do. You don’t have the money to start it? Who did? You don’t have the time to get started? Who does? You don’t have the courage to begin? Get some! Get over your hurt, your past, your slackness and the spirit of hindrance and move forward! You have experienced the things that you have to become testimonies to help advance God’s Kingdom. No more excuses. God doesn’t give us any.

“But without faith it is impossible to please God; for he that cometh to God must believe that He “IS” and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

“Sometime later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed.  One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.” John 5:1-9

Live life, give people hope, share your heart, wisdom and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 4.10.16
