Good morning Lovelies. Father God, please give us the wisdom to recognize our own mistakes, and the courage to acknowledge them. Help us to grow a spirit of humility. Teach us to look first for the plank in our own eye before we turn to judge our neighbors. In the Mighty, Matchless, Name of Jesus. Amen!!!
When we were an infant and we began to take steps for the first time, we fell a lot. It was a process of trial and error. After you get the right balance and learn to stand correctly, then take one step after the other properly, you will walk without falling. All babies must endure this test in order to walk. And for some, it takes more time than others.
But, the bottom line is that walking is a very important skill for a baby to learn so initial falling is accepted and expected. Well, It’s the same in the body of Christ. Walking is required by Saints. You cannot be a true child of God and not make progress. Claiming Christ is not enough, but you must put your faith into action. You cannot stand still as a Christian, but if you are a believer you will desire to move forward. When you accept him, you are a babe in Christ and you crawl for around for a while. But, eventually, you must take steps!
There should come a time when we stop crawling around and stand up! Stand up and prepare to take steps in your life. You may have struggles that have knocked you down each time you stood up. But after a while, you start walking without falling down. It’s time to take steps in your life and move from the same place you’ve been at for some time. Many have been standing on the same issues, same financial problems, same emotional stress, same demons tormenting them etc. It’s time to walk forward. Stop talking about how you are going to do this or that. It’s time to stop talking and start walking! You don’t have to keep announcing what you are going to do to everyone. “Just do it!” Sure you may have fallen and gotten up, but now it’s time to allow God to keep you from falling. Now it’s time to grow up in Him and walk without falling.
Talk is cheap. You can talk about what you are going to do for years. You can keep rebuilding your life over and over again and keep getting “Loosed” and “empowered.” You can keep getting a new revelation and saying what changes you are going to make in your life. But, until your revelation gets activation, you will still be right where you are. You cannot sit around and not work and expect to make money! You cannot sit around and talk about all that you are going to do and keep the same old crazy work habits, the same old unfruitful friendships, and the same old low self-worth and expect to get ahead in life.
There are rules in life. Until God move moves your gift into operation, you must show diligence. How many times, since you have grown up, have you lost your balance and fell while physically walking? You should have mastered walking by now. Well, apply the same principle to your spiritual walk and mature to the point where falling is no longer tolerated!
“Now unto him, that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence His glory with exceeding joy.” Jude 1:24
Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.
