Good morning Lovelies, I know it’s been a few days since my last post. I’m trying to be more obedient to when God speaks to me. Sometimes I tend to say Okay Lord I’ll do the in a minute or I going to. I’ve shared on several occasions how God gives me just one single word every year. For the last two years, it’s been the same word “Transparent.” My only conclusion to the fact that He has given me the same one twice is that “I’m not being as transparent as He would like me to be. I’m being more diligent to do just that be “Transparent.” So when I mess up or there is trouble, sadness, or circumstances that arise in my life I try to be transparent about them. My reason for sharing how sometimes I’m still disobedient when I don’t move or do things when asked. But, He is a God of second chances.
Father, I come to you this morning asking that whatever you give me to share on this morning encourages whoever takes the time to read it. Thank You for Your grace. I thank You for looking beyond my faults and for loving me unconditionally. Forgive me when I fail to be obedient to Your call and nudging me to do what You ask. Direct my words, thoughts, and actions. Thank You for when I am weak You are strong. Thank You for fearfully and wonderfully creating us. Thank You for giving us worth in Your eyes. Father forgive me when I complain about my circumstances. Please forgive me for my bad attitude when things don’t always go my way. I want to see Your hand in every part of everyday good or bad. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen!
Many of us face the challenge of working with limited resources. Whether on our jobs or in our lives outside of work. Our days and lives are equipped with minimal finances, little time, dwindling energy, and not enough people or resources to help even though our workload may stay the same. Sometimes, it even increases. There’s a saying that I use a lot especially on my job that I remember is used when Pharaoh wanted the Israelites to yet make the same required amount of bricks without the supply of straw. I find myself using this phrase “always want us to make the same amount of bricks but won’t give us any extra straw.”
Now mind you, my dilemma is nowhere near what the Israelites were going through. Mine is a lack of them hiring someone to either do the extra, delegating the work properly or just insisting that someone do their required job. They searched the land to find what they needed while being beaten and pressured to work harder. The Israelites became so discouraged that they didn’t listen to God when He said, He would rescue them. Although the Israelites refused to hear God’s message, Like we still do today, God was still guiding and directing Moses to go speak to Pharaoh. God is always at work behind the scenes. Just like the Israelites, we can become so downhearted that we ignore the encouragement. Even in dark times, He is still at work on our behalf.
Bricks made without straw will break and crumble easily. The same is true today when it comes to our lives or any organization. By not supplying or acquiring the proper means to sustain in life or the proper resources need for an organization to run it will definitely eventually crumble like-BRICKS WITHOUT STRAW!!!
“You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks; let them go and gather their own straw. But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don’t reduce the quota. They are lazy; that is why they are crying out, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’ Make the work harder for the people so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies.” Exodus 5:7-9
Love life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©9.7.2020
