Good morning Lovelies. God is showing us a new day of grace and mercy. Father, we thank You for Your Word and Your presence over our lives. We thank You that no weapon formed against us will prosper, for greater are You who is in us than he who is in the world. We pray that You will cast down every threat and accusation, every abusive word and cruel attack hurled our way. We praise You that nothing is impossible with You, that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. We trust in You alone, to rise up strong on our behalf. Thank You that You are our Defender and Strong Tower, our Refuge ad our Strength. Thank You that You fight for us today in our weakness, you make us strong. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen!
When God opened your eyes this morning what was the first thing that you did? Did you stretch and begin thinking about the hustle and bustle of the day? Or, do you start thinking about the goodness of God and how He has blessed you with another day? One of my favorite songs is “Just Another Day That the Lord Has Kept Me.” Start your day off relaxing in God’s presence focusing on Him, bringing your mind back to Him for refreshment and renewal. Let the light of His presence soak into you.
This sacrifice of time pleases God and strengthens you! If God seems far away, persist in your search for Him. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Did not our Lord and Savior promise, if we seek Him we shall find Him? Concentrate on communing with Him and not the plans and problems of your day. Don’t become so busy doing things, even doing things for Jesus can sometimes take away from you spending time with Him.
Don’t let your service become self-serving. He doesn’t hold it against us for having busy work or service to him, He just wants us to set priorities. Each day should start with God, each day is a new beginning, and each day will challenge your faith!
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16
As always peace and blessings, be safe. Love life, give people hope, and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©9.27.2020
