Good morning Lovelies. I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lord make me a vessel that can be used by you. Purify my heart, mind, and soul as I present it all to you so that I can be your instrument of healing, deliverance, and peace. I am your Servant teach me, make me, mold me, cover me and bless me to be all that you created me to be. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen.

Sometimes during prayer I find that my mind wanders from the focus of my prayers. There are sometimes distractions that creep up during prayer time. It would really bother me when this would happen. But, then God something to me. He said, “When your mind wanders while you are praying don’t be surprised or upset. Simply return your attention back to Him, smile knowing that I understand. Rejoice in His love for me which has no limits, conditions and to be assured that He will never leave me nor forsake me.”

I considered that this was a weakness for me when my mind would wander but God’s Word tells me that my weaknesses and woundedness are openings through which the light of His presence filters through to bless others. Through my weaknesses, He shows His strength and power when He brings me through them. It is possible to enjoy God and glorify Him in the midst of adverse circumstances.

In fact, God’s light shines most brightly through believers who trust Him even in the darkness when things go wrong, your mind wanders away from Him, but trust Him anyway because through the intimacy of our relationship we are being transformed from the inside out. As we keep our focus on Him, He will form us into who He desires us to be. Holding His hand in Childlike trust.

Being human is hard. We wake up every day to our limitations and possibilities, our bad decisions and our glorious potential. We’re not God but we’re made in his image. We’re not big but we’re a big deal. And it’s with this every human finds the tension of life -wanting to be who they’re made to be, yet overreaching or sabotaging who they’re never meant to be.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

“Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 3:4

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness, made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” 2 Corinthians 4:6-7

“But He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities, but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 02.11.19
