“In the Midst of a Storm”

October 21, 2020

Good morning Lovelies. God is truly great. This is the day that the Lord has made. During my morning prayer, the Holy Spirit moved me to really reach out today. Father, we come to You broken and desperate for Your love and grace. Please heal the broken places in our life. We surrender our hurt and pain to You and ask You to transform it all into something beautiful, that glorifies You. We chose to trust You Lord, not our feelings or human understanding. We chose to walk by faith and not by sight. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen, Amen, and Amen!

Here's my food for thought today. We are like the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. We may be in the fire but there's a fourth one in the fire. There are some things that you can only learn about God after you have suffered for a while. God said in his word if you suffer with me, you will reign with me. If you go through the tough times and you still praise me through the tough times, then when we get to the good you can have whatever you ask. For your miracle is in what you have left when the fire stops burning. Whatever the fire took from you, you didn't need it. God never performs miracles in what you lost. It is always in what you have left. People who value what they have left look forward. People who value what they've lost look backward. Humm, which one are you? Let every man examine his own self.

There's someone that is desperately clinging to the broken remnants of their life. The things that they’ve lost. A failing relationship, a lost job, or loss of a loved one. You're wondering how can you go on? Remember that you are not in the furnace alone. Although whispers from the enemy creep into your heart, mind, and soul taunting you with the lie that you are too broken for God to love or use. Well, the devil is a lie. God is drawn to broken people. He chooses the most broken to do his work. Through your brokenness is where God can use you the most.

Brokenness is like being in the midst of a storm. But unlike a storm which is ordained by God some of our storms or brokenness are self-inflicted. Storms can hit every area of your life. And the right storm can make you feel so broken that you feel that you won’t survive. Remember God will never leave you nor forsake you and you will make it through. God has the power to bring you out of the fiery furnace, out of your storms.

We are only surviving because we are holding on to the little we have left. You’re holding onto the broken pieces. I know many of you have been severely hurt by a storm that left an aftermath of broken pieces. Broken but usable.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Love life, give people hope, and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©10.21.2020
