"In His Word"

Good morning Lovelies. God's grace and mercies are new every day. May you be inspired throughout your day. Father, we praise you for the perspective that Your Word provides. We get caught up in our mistakes and failures so easily, giving them a foothold in the mountain of doubt that threatens to take us out and discourage us. But You don’t look at our mistakes like we do. You never give up on us, teach us how to repent and live out consequences, and moving forward and into the purpose, You have specifically laid out for our lives. In the Mighty Matchless name of Jesus. Amen!

Food for thought today. God's word is not simply a collection of words from God, a vehicle for communicating ideas. It is living, life-changing, and dynamic as it works through us. With the incisiveness of a surgeon's knife, God's word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates the core of our moral and spiritual life. It discerns what is within us, both good and evil. The demands of God's word require decisions.

We must not only listen to God's word, we must also let it shape our lives. Because you see, nothing can be hidden from God. He knows about everyone everywhere and everything about us is wide-open to his all-seeing eyes. God sees all we do and knows all we think. Even when we are unaware of his presence He is there. When we try to hide from God He sees us. We can have no secrets when it comes to God. It is so comforting to know and to realize that although God knows us intimately, He still loves us. Hebrews 4:12-13, tells us,

" For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

Not only is God's Word alive, but it is also powerful and that's why His Word will never become obsolete. As a child of God, we are responsible for not just hearing the word but to also be doers since we bear witness to the power of His Word. It's one thing to read His Word and another to study His Word.

It's amazing how so many people have access to this awesome power but fail to use it especially Christians. It blows my mind that Christians will spend more time in gossip than they will in God's Word. It's interesting at most, how many people never study God's Word until they have a crisis come. I'm so thankful for God's Word because it-SAVED A WRETCH LIKE ME!!!

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Love life, give people hope, and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. krw©10.20.2020
