Good morning beloved. God has blessed you and me with another day. It is beautiful and wonderfully made just as you are. Start your day with rejoicing in it.
This weekend my son had a situation that kind of threw him for a loop. He called me very frustrated and upset. The situation was one that nothing could be done about it at that present time. So I let him know that I would make a few phone calls and to stop his anger because his being angry wasn’t going to rectify the situation. I continued the conversation expressing that he needed to stop allowing Satan to take him to a place of getting angry about things no matter what they may be. He had to realize and recognize when things are a trick of the enemy. He needed to remember that God is still in control in every situation that arises but he would not be able to see God if he went straight to “angry mode.”
He has to remember that there were other times when he thought things would go one way and God worked them out for his good and that the one he had now was no different. Once again, before the weekend was over God had resolved his issue. I shared this to say that we have to ask ourselves if we are “God-Centered or Trouble-Centered?”
Satan has a way sometimes blatantly, but most times with subtlety getting us to forget that God can do all things but fail. Life happens! We can rest assured that we would not go through life without going through trials and tribulations. It’s one way that keeps our minds from being God-centered but focused on being trouble-Centered. What do I mean by God-Centered and Trouble-Centered? Being God-Centered means that you have a mindset that no matter what happens you know that God can and will bring you through. You may not know when but you have faith that He can. Trouble-Centered is basically when you allow those trials and tribulations to take control of your thoughts. It’s when life happens and you might think about how God can take care of it but, you second guess His ability and power with thoughts of, “I wonder if,” “I know this can’t change,” I can’t never get ahead,” I can never catch a break,” “My life is never going to change and this list can go on, but you get the picture.
But, we have to learn to encourage ourselves as we are going through tough times. When it seems as though there is no way out of a situation and everything is closing in on you, you can rest assure that God is just a whisper away to help you. Our trials of life build character, endurance, and patience. The answer to our trials and tribulations is God. I’m a firm believer that we make our situations worst, the moment we start complaining. And most of the time when we are complaining, we don’t even realize what we are saying, that is adding to the trouble that we are experiencing.
We can be sure that as we face the storms, trials, and valleys of life, God will always prove Himself to be steadfast and faithful to you and me. Simply put, God is saying….you can count on Me! When I thought that there was no way out, God, You showed mercy and compassion and stepped in and saved me. This is why … I’m so glad that trouble doesn’t last always. Our Father loves us so much that He does not want us to have old stale mercies and compassion to live from during each day. He gives us fresh new mercies daily!
What we face today, is not the same things we faced on yesterday, or what we will face tomorrow. Each day has its own trials and difficulties that are unique to that day. Our Father knows that, so He gives us new and fresh mercies and compassions that are just what we need for each day. So what this means is that we don’t have to be Trouble-Centered because God knows all about them before we do and He can handle them. Keeping a God-Centered mindset will allow you to look at trouble and tell it that it will not take your focus off of God! Because He is your source of help with conquering Trouble-Centered issues or chaos. C-Christ, H-has, A-all, O-our, S-solutions!
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Live life, give people hope, share your heart wisdom and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.
