Good morning lovelies. God has been instructing me for several months now to begin giving you what He has given to me for you. I am ever so humbled and appreciative to those of you who have informed me that you have missed the words of encouragement that I would give each morning. As I sit here this morning penning these words, I am reminded that this is part of the shift that God is going to do in my life in 2019. I welcome it and I am ready for the shifting to begin for the next level. To God be the Glory!!

We all at some point in our lives have been in a fight. Whether it was in our childhood, teenage years or for some as an adult. Occasionally, we knew what the fight was about but all too often we couldn’t even remember what we were fighting about. Our parents use to tell us that we shouldn’t fight but if someone hits you then it is your right to protect yourself. Some loved the opportunity to be in what was called a “good fight” and for others, it was something that was avoided at all cost.

But the older I get and the more my relationship with God grows, I have come to realize that sometimes you have to go into battle. The fight can be different for everyone but one thing that is certain we all have a daily battle to fight against Satan, our flesh, health issues, times of indecisions, financial issues, dealing with a loss of a loved one, loss of a job, an addiction, or even problems in the church. Yes, even there. But our current situations aren’t as important as what we do with them. Do you wallow in the “Oh Whoa is Me’s?” Or do you fight on through them? Are you acknowledging them, making them become the god (small “g” intentional) of your life by choking the life out of your spirit, out of your strength, out of your desire to not stay stuck in your present circumstance?

But for me, mine is my grandchildren. When you can see the things that Satan is placing before them to take them out of the Will of God and to lead them away from the purpose that God has for them you become angry with that Olé buzzard. There are times when you have to fight a battle for someone who you know isn’t capable of fighting for themselves. You don’t like the fact that they are being messed with. I see it as another form of bullying when Satan tries to rear his ugly head. We must stand in the gap if you well. Satan will do everything in his power to tear down the spiritual protection around those that you love. I’m concerned about what the future holds for my children, my grandchildren, and your family as well.  I see the attack that he has waged against one of my grandsons. I can remember a time when I would go straight hood when someone tried messing with someone that I loved. But, God changes the heart and the mindset.

I pray for my grandsons on a daily basis. Talk to their parents about what I see happening but I cannot afford to sit idly by waiting on a reaction from them. The time is critical. Today, I step into the ring. I will no longer sit in the shadows waiting and watching the seriousness of this matter to be taken lightly and my family drug through the mud. I’m rolling up my sleeves, putting on my gloves and I’m taking over this FIGHT FOR MY FAMILY!!! I’m putting it in the hands of the only capable one to handle. He never loses or fails.

Nehemiah 4:14 says, “Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the leaders and all the people and said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and go fight for your friends, your families (sons, daughters, husbands, and wives, brothers and sisters, even your in-laws) and your homes.

Don’t be afraid of the enemy! He is not more powerful than God. He will not and does not win in the end. He must flee when you rebuke him. He is under our feet. Fight for your families and your homes. Guard your children, relatives, and loved ones. Be a shield. I love the fact that I don’t have to go straight-hood anymore. Because I now have someone that will fight for me. I just go into battle a little differently now. I put on the whole armor of God. So that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Is anybody ready to stand and fight? Well, let’s fight on!!!!

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand the evil day and having done all you can do to stand.” Ephesians 6:12-13.

Live life, give people hope. Share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. © 01.01.19
