Good morning Lovelies. Father God, thank you for intervening in my life and allowing me to have a personal relationship with you. Thank you for your love for me today and forever. Thank you for the blessings you’ve given me and my family. Help us use those blessings to bless others. May I live a life of true joy as I see you at work around me today! In the Mighty, Matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

The end of a work week is a time for what I call “me time.” Something everyone should always find time for. This doesn’t mean that you’re being selfish, because Jesus found several chances this when He needed to pray. But, me time can be whatever you choose for it to be. Mine varies from reading, listening to music, studying the word and watching movies.

This particular week it will be movies. I rented a movie called “Super Cyclone,” and this storm was created by an oil rig that dug too deep and hit molten lava. This, in turn, changed the temperature of the water, causing this storm to develop. As I watched this movie I began to think about God, His power, and His warning.

The thing about this cyclone is that it was said to be the worst then 5 or more Katrina’s put together. Now, at first, I felt that Katrina was not something to make lite of. But the Holy Spirit said to me that is to show that the devastation would be even greater. Then it was as if the movie was a blur as I remembered how the media had broadcast the attacks on the U. S. Embassy because of a movie made here in the United States.

I thought about how we have been at war or in that standby mode for as long as I can remember. Only to realize and to thank God for His Word. Because studying His Word has helped me to understand better the things that are going on around me and not be surprised about them. Everything that happens no matter what it is can be found spoken about in the Bible. I remember telling my sons when they were young that there’s nothing new under the sun that you can’t find spoken about in the Bible. God’s Word.

So, as I began to turn my focus back to the movie I remembered Jesus’ words to His disciples when He said, “watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming I am the Messiah and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nations will rise up against nation and kingdoms will rise up against kingdom and will rise up against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. (Think about it already happening!) All these are the beginning of birth pains. “Matthew 24:4-8.

People are always saying that this is a sign for this or that. Or, that they have created something that can change global warming, the weather or the deterioration of the planet. So some begin to look for the signs that man is doing this, changing what God ordained to happen. The fact is that whenever we look for these signs. (Man-made signs.) We become susceptible to being deceived. These are merely false prophets if you will, going around with counterfeit signs of spiritual power and authority. Think about it. If there was someone in this world that could change what has been written wouldn’t that make them more powerful than our God? Don’t be deceived there is not one that exists that is! Not even the weatherman you see trying to predict God’s work. Again there is not one who exist that can. Because even at the end of the move they were able to stop the storm. But did “they” really? Don’t believe the hype!

Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 4.25.18
