Could this be? Or is this me?

Good morning beloved. I have so many thoughts right now. It is just a humbling experience when God just sits you down and allows you to meditate on His word but in the process He gives you examples to go along with what He is given you through His word.

One of the most difficult lessons to learn is that God is sovereign. He is above all those who govern over us. He limits the power and authority of all government, business and religious leaders in the world. Look at the state of the government all over the world. Or, how so many religious leaders are falling from grace so to speak. God is in control. Those who think they live in freedom and with a relatively high degree of self-government find this difficult to understand. God is sovereign over all of our plans and desires. But, while you have this mode of thinking what does your conscience say?

Oh, that’s right you’re more concerned with appearances than doing what’s right. You remember, how you talked about your boss because he/she made you do something that wasn’t your responsibility or in your job description. Or maybe when you took those supplies from work because you could use them at home. Okay, okay, that wasn’t you. Well, what about when you slept with that married woman/man? Yeah, you were able to arrange it so you two could meet without being seen because you had it all together. Still, not you? Well what about when you know you should have paid for something and you didn’t? Maybe you yelled, cussed or whipped your children when the problem could have been resolved just by sitting them down and making them understand. Alright, alright, here it is. You knew that you shouldn’t do it but your friends were doing it and you wanted to be part of the group so you did it too. You tell yourself that you’re just going to try it and the next thing that you know now you’re an addict. Don’t get it twisted addicts are not always able to be spotted. There are a lot of undercover addicts. Or you touched that child the way you shouldn’t have when no one was around or looking.

I know for some this may seem pretty raw but it is time to stop thinking that things need to be sugar-coated. We all can think back on our lives and remember things that we got away with. We’ve felt like we could do whatever we wanted, especially when no one sees us. Reality Check-you didn’t get away. You just didn’t think about God…..You just didn’t look up……The agony of sin is you can keep on giving a deaf ear to your consciousness and your consciousness can become seared. This is when God gives you over to a reprobated mind. Anybody that goes to hell is going to have to reject God. Because God doesn’t send anybody to hell……you have to want to go. Hummmm, what’s your choice.

“Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” 1Timothy 4:2

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”  Romans 1:28

Live life, give people hope. Share your heart, wisdom and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw-3.21.16
