“But Now”

Good morning Lovelies. Father God, I am at a loss for words. I’m not sure how to pray for this difficult situation, but I know you promise that you hear our prayers, so I want to try praying now. Please be our comfort, our support, our strength and our shield. Please help us overcome all that the enemy tries to throw our way. Help us depend on your and find great joy and peace from your presence. Thank you for always loving us and never leaving us. In the Mighty, Matchless, Name of Jesus. Amen!!!

Looking back into our lives we have lived reckless lives, carefree lives, careless lives, and the “I want to do my own thing” lives. We often bit off more than we could chew which often put us in situations that we regretted. Some of the mistakes that we have made in our lives we have paid for and some we are still paying for.

In the spiritual realm at that time we could be considered the walking dead or the walking blind. One of my favorite movies is the movie with Michael Clarke Duncan, called “The Green Mile.” There was a section of the prison that was sectioned off for all of those that were sentenced to death. And when a new inmate was being escorted to his cell, one of the prison guards would yell as they were walking to the cell, DEAD MAN WALKING, THERE’S A DEAD MAN WALKING.

We were considered the walking blind, or the walking dead. We were walking in darkness. We had the sight of our eyes to see all of the physical things of life such as our homes, our cars, our family members, and our friends, but not those things that were spiritual. Our eyes seemed to be blind you could say although we could see. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18.

Jesus spoke to the blind and they received their sight, He spoke to the dead and they received life, He spoke to the sick and they were healed, he spoke to the lost and they were found. There are times; God will allow obstacles to come your way so that He might be magnified. All of us have been on our own personal Damascus Road experience. I don’t have a problem making this thing personal. I wasn’t always a person who loves the Lord. I’m not ashamed of my past.

You should not be ashamed of your past because your past is your personal witness and testimony to help someone else. I just thank God that He turned my life around. There Is No Secret to what God can do. What He did for others He will do for you.

We were born into a world of sin which constitutes we are nothing but sinners. Some of us are better sinners than others. This is definitely not something to be proud of. God can use any method He chooses to get the job done. He can use any method He chooses to bring praise to His name. He will even take what the devil meant for evil, turn that thing around for good. We were not always saved in church like we are now.

God will give Satan permission to attack you so that He can show you just what he’s working with. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. © 5.9.18
