Good morning Lovelies. Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lord, I love You and thank You for sparing my grandson. Father, we know that it was only Your grace, mercy and hedge of protection that kept him here when he was shot several days ago. Father, we know that he belongs to You. I want to move forward and become the vessel for Your use. Here I am Lord use me. Lord, I tend to whine and complain on occasion but you also fill me with gratitude. Lord, I ask that You forgive me. Help me to learn to see Your hand at work as I journey through the steps that You are ordering for my life. I trust You even when I don’t understand my circumstances. I choose to praise You anyhow because I know You are in control. In the Mighty Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen!
I hope that you are staying warm and as dry as possible with all the rain that we’ve been getting. Making an observation, for the past couple of days, I have been listening to people either complaining about what the weatherman did or didn’t predict. Or, they are complaining about all the rain that we are getting or how cold it has been the past couple of months. As I stated previously, I am a people watcher and God continues to show me so much about us as a people. We are just like the Israelites when they complained to Moses as he followed Gods instructions to lead them to the promise land.
Well, for starters, sorry to burst your bubble but technically there is not a man alive that controls the weather or, what God is going to do or not do. Secondly, our situation is nowhere near as bad as what others are experiencing at this moment in time. Yes, we’re getting quite a bit of rain but I couldn’t imagine having to deal with the tragedy that they are experiencing. We have to learn how to thank God in all things not just when it is convenient. When we speak fearlessly for Christ or live faithfully for Him during difficult times and situations, we encourage others to do the same.
You see, what comes to mind as we go through these few days that were predicted from the weatherman is this-“BUT GOD!!!” We need to have a But God in our spirit. Because it could easily be us in that situation. You could be homeless-But God! You could be hungry-But God! It could have been so many things-But God! People recognize what another had to go through to get to where they are right now today. This hour, this minute-But God! So many times it seemed like it was over for you-But God! So I thank God for the rain. I thank God that it is not me going through the tragedy of losing my grandson, or the flooding that others are suffering from-But God! We should never look down on lost and hurting people-But God!!! We live in a world and society that is prone to complaining-“BUT GOD!!!!”
Philippians 2:14, “Do all things without complaining and disputing.”
Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma. As always peace and blessings, be safe. Remember God loves you and so do I.©2.27.19
