“Broken Hearts”

Heart matters

Good morning Lovelies. Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Good morning is not just a word, it’s an action and a belief to live the entire day well. Morning is the time when you set the tone for the rest of the day. Set it right! ~ Fain

Father God, help me to set the tone right. I pray that I will stay focused on You today. I pray that You will constantly remind me to be content in all of my circumstances. I pray that You will fill me up that I may be joyful all day, even if stress creeps in. I know that through my contentment, You will be glorified. I want to honor You, Father, in all that I do. In the Mighty, Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen.

When your heart is broken, you have a debate with yourself. Should you leave the pieces of your heart there or should I start all over? Or, should you pick up the pieces and mend them together again. Actually, God is the only potter mentioned in the Word. He is the only one that can take our spiritual lives and put them all back together again. This doesn’t just apply to the spiritual, make no mistake about it God is in control of our lives period.

But what about natural things, like our feelings being hurt, or close relationships becoming unpleasant? Should we try to mend those things and put them back together? Well, this is where we as believers sometimes miss the mark. Or drop the ball more commonly put. We want to put things back together all the time and make things work, even when it may not be Gods will for us too.

That is why He told us to, “cast our cares upon Him” and to “seek ye the Kingdom of heaven and His righteousness.” The Word is telling us that when we are broken by natural things and hurt in the flesh, we should cast these things at the feet of Jesus so that we can find out what His will is for it.

No matter how much it hurts, you must give it to God. Of course, hurting is no fun and being hurt by people that are close to you is even more painful, but God sees all and knows all and if you take the time to give it to Him, He can ease the pain.

God never told us to mend it, heal it, and like many popular preachers are saying today, “claim it.” We go to these spiritual pep rallies, feeling like we can fix it all because the speaker said some general stuff that happens everywhere, and then you are charged a financial seed before it will happen! That is ridiculous. We must remember that our cares, concerns, hurts, etc., should be given to God so that He can sort it out and properly “direct our path.”

Don’t listen to what some generalized, motivational message has to say about your personal turmoil or trial. Only God knows the purpose, the plan, and the outcome of it. Seek ye first Him and you will find the answers and the direction to proceed. Endure the pain, trust in Him and know that it will stop hurting after a while. We have to start watching who you allow to sow into your spirit. As the Word says we should try the spirit by the spirit. Because what may sound good isn’t always good. Don’t look for others to help you mend your broken hearts, seek the One who gave you your heartbeat!!!!

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18

Live life, give people hope and share our heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 3.30.18
