An “Anyhow” Praise

January 29, 2019

Good morning Lovelies. God has been so good to us. If you are reading this post you are definitely blessed by God and my prayer is also by this post. I always try to start my post with a prayer. Father God, first off I just want to say thank you. Not asking anything for myself Father, because You know all my needs and even my wants Lord. I come to You this morning standing in the gap for those that may have health issues, financial issues. Those that may need strength to make it through. I pray for all those who are suffering. Especially the homeless, those without food, shelter or clothing. Those that are suffering through these cold winter nights and days. I pray for the leader of this country. God, You are a God of righteousness and order and I know that it is soon to come from amongst all the mess that is going on in this country today. God help the people to realize that Trump was allowed in office as a part of Your plan to get the people to see that it’s You that they need and need to turn to. Bless those who hunger and thirst after your righteousness and for more of you Lord. I thank You in advance for my complete healing from this cold that has been a hindrance to my writing because of being too weak to want to even move. Bless every Pastor, Elder, and deacon filling them with the Spirit of wisdom and understanding. We thank You for all that You do. In the Mighty, Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen!!!

In a world where each corner holds some potential for danger we still need to have an “Anyhow praise.” In a society where just going to work can end in tragedy. In a community where drugs run rampant and hope is fleeting. It is essential that Christians look past the circumstances and cling to the Cross. We should count each trial as a learning experience. Because after all, if we don’t experience anything how can our life be a testimony for others to see how God will handle whatever it may be that we are going through or that we have gone through. We should count each trial and tribulation as a stepping stone. Rejoicing in the midst of our suffering. Praising God in the midst of our pain-an “Anyhow praise!”

We can have an “Anyhow praise,” because we know and understand that God is an awesome God. He is mighty. He is wonderful and He can do anything but fail. There are many things that may occur in life that causes us to be knocked down a bit. There are situations that make it hard for us to be certain that God is in control. But these seeds of doubt are simply tools that Satan has put into play to cause us to turn away from God. However, when we just take the time to contemplate on the goodness of God. When we allow our minds to meditate on everything that He has done, everything He is doing and everything He is going to do. We can have an “Anyhow Praise!”

Trials and tribulations are a part of life. You might as well prepare yourself to deal with it. Christianity is not a shield from hardships. Being saved is not a get out of trouble free pass. Knowing God will not keep tragedy from knocking on your door. Trials and tribulations, problems and perplexities, circumstances and situations are our testimonies that God is good all the time and all the time God is good. The command that God has given us is not to praise Him because of-but to praise Him “Anyhow!”

“Anyhow praise,” is offered up by those who have a personal relationship and not a part-time acquaintance to God. Those who are a follower of Christ and not just a fan as Kyle Idelman would call them. Allowing us to endure difficulties because we know that trouble doesn’t last always-praise God “Anyhow!!” God expects us to praise Him. He tells us to praise Him. Scripture after scripture we see the command to magnify, glorify and rejoice in Him. He didn’t say only praise me when your money is right. He didn’t say only praise me when your bills are paid. He didn’t say praise me when things go right for you. He didn’t say only praise me when your health is good. He wants us to praise Him at “ALL,” times. Praise Him for everything. Yes, even thanking Him for the trials in our lives. If when the praises go up the blessings come down, it would seem justifiable to think if while we are going through difficult times we offer up joyless and weak praise, that it will have a certain effect. Our blessings come trickling down bit by bit, we should not be offended. When we are going through and offer up mundane praise and our blessing appears to be mediocre we ought not to feel God has forgotten us. Because after all what did you offer Him?

So, when the road gets tough and the going gets rough and your hill is too hard to climb, praise Him Anyhow! When the doctor says there is no hope-praise Him anyhow! So why should we feel discouraged when problems come our way? Praise Him “Anyhow!!”

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4

Live life, give people hope and share your heart, wisdom, and resources. Never place a period where God says there should be a comma.

As always peace and blessings, be safe. Take advantage of your opportunities, but never allow your opportunities to take advantage of you. Remember God loves you and so do I. ©krw 01.29.19
